Where does the boardwalk lead?

The Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk leads from the Banff Gondola summit complex to Sanson's Peak, one of the highest accessible points on Sulphur Mountain and home to the historic Sanson's Peak Meteorological Station.

Beginning just outside the upper gondola terminal, the boardwalk follows the mountain ridge away from the main buildings and viewing decks. As you walk, the crowds gradually thin out, creating a quieter and more immersive alpine experience.

The route passes several scenic viewpoints where you can admire panoramic views of the Bow Valley, Banff townsite, Mount Rundle, Cascade Mountain, Tunnel Mountain, and numerous other Rocky Mountain peaks.
