The Mt. Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift is conveniently located just minutes from the Town of Banff, making it easy to combine with many of the area's most popular attractions. Whether you're looking for scenic viewpoints, wildlife, lakes, or historic sites, there are plenty of options within a short drive.

Banff Gondola is only about 15 minutes away and offers a completely different mountain experience. Visitors can ride enclosed gondola cabins to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, walk the famous boardwalk to Sanson's Peak, explore interactive exhibits, and enjoy several restaurants with panoramic views.

Banff Town is less than 10 minutes from Mt. Norquay. The town is filled with cafés, restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums, and beautiful streets surrounded by mountain scenery. It's an ideal place to enjoy lunch, dinner, or an evening stroll after your chairlift ride.

Bow Falls is one of Banff's most famous waterfalls and is just a short drive away. The wide, powerful falls are easily accessible and make an excellent photography stop.

Surprise Corner offers one of the classic postcard views of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel with Sulphur Mountain rising behind it. It's a quick stop but one of the area's most photographed viewpoints.

Tunnel Mountain is a popular short hike close to town. Its summit provides panoramic views of Banff, the Bow Valley, Mount Rundle, and Cascade Mountain, making it an excellent complement to the chairlift experience.

Vermilion Lakes is another nearby highlight. The series of lakes is famous for its calm reflections of Mount Rundle, especially during sunrise and sunset. Wildlife such as elk, beavers, and waterfowl are often seen here.

Lake Minnewanka is about 15 minutes from Mt. Norquay and is the largest lake in Banff National Park. Visitors can enjoy boat cruises, lakeshore walks, picnics, canoeing, and spectacular mountain scenery.

Cascade Ponds provides a quieter setting for families and picnics. Surrounded by mountain views, it's a relaxing place to spend an hour or two after exploring Mt. Norquay.

Cave and Basin National Historic Site is where Canada's national park system began. Visitors can learn about the area's history while exploring boardwalks, natural thermal springs, and interpretive exhibits.

Banff Upper Hot Springs offers the opportunity to soak in warm mineral water while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains. It's a wonderful way to relax after a day of sightseeing or hiking.

If you have a full day in Banff, a popular itinerary is to visit the Mt. Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift in the morning, explore Lake Minnewanka or Vermilion Lakes in the afternoon, and finish the day with the Banff Gondola or a soak at the Banff Upper Hot Springs.
