Is the chairlift crowded?

Even then, Mount Norquay is usually less congested than Banff's most famous attractions. You may encounter a short wait to board the chairlift or find more people at the Cliffhouse Bistro, but the experience generally remains calm and enjoyable.

If you're looking for the quietest visit, consider arriving early in the morning shortly after the chairlift opens or later in the afternoon. These times often provide the lightest crowds, cooler temperatures, and beautiful lighting for photography. Visiting in September is another excellent option, as visitor numbers begin to decline while the mountain scenery becomes even more spectacular with the changing autumn colours.
