Can you see Vermilion Lakes?

Yes. On a clear day, you can see Vermilion Lakes from the top of the Mount Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift. From the elevated viewpoint, the chain of shallow lakes is visible west of the Town of Banff, nestled within the Bow Valley and surrounded by forests and mountain scenery.

From the summit, Vermilion Lakes appear as a series of shimmering bodies of water winding through the valley floor. Their calm surface often reflects the surrounding mountains, especially on still mornings and evenings.
