Can you see Vermilion Lakes?

Yes. On a clear day, Vermilion Lakes are visible from the summit of Sulphur Mountain. From the observation decks, you can look northwest across the Bow Valley and spot the chain of shallow lakes nestled between the forest and the foothills.

From this elevated viewpoint, the lakes appear as a series of shimmering bodies of water connected by marshes and wetlands. Their reflective surfaces often stand out against the surrounding evergreen forest, especially on calm mornings when they mirror the surrounding mountain peaks.
